… New Project Approved! – Clusterix

 

Cluster 55 together with the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth(Tillväxtverket) & a European consortium with partners from Austria, France, Germany, Romania, Italy & Denmark have been awarded financing for the project Clusterix through the program InterReg IV C.

The project aims to share knowledge between public financiers of growth & innovation & the organisations that they aim to support. We as cluster 55 share with the counterparts of Tillväxtverket what we feel our national agency is doing right or wrong in order for them to learn from the source what the effect of their funding & governing result in.

The project will also give Cluster 55 great opportunities to tie up valuable cluster-to-cluster connections with our counterpart in these countries in order to facilitate connections for industry relations & researchers.

We will share more information regarding the project in the months to come.

The project has a total budget of : 2 M EUR
of which cluster 55 has a partner budget of approx. 165´000 EUR

The project starts on the 1st of Jan and runs for 30 months

Welcome to GeekNights – free going-home meetings prior to this spring’s largest developer conference in Scandinavia GOTO Copenhagen 2012.

For the first time ever a GeekNight is being held in Malmö in cooperation between MINC and Dansk IT (Danish IT Society/ Dataföreningen in Denmark).

Bringing Riak to the Mobile Platform

In this talk, I'll present Riak Mobile, a component that can be embedded into your iOS or Android application to make it a full Riak replication-aware peer. Typical usages for Riak Mobile is as a mobile content distribution platform using one-way sync; or with two-way sync to also push updated data back to your Riak cluster when the network is "eventually" available.
